Conditions that You Can’t Get Microbladed

Unfortunately not everyone can get microblading done. Reasons for not being able to perform the service is usually because it's either unsafe to microblade on you or you are doing something that will make the ink fade quickly. Read below to make sure you fit the qualifications to have your brows done.

  • During pregnancy or nursing
  • If you are diabetic
  • If any skin diseases, symptoms, or irritation appears in the brow area (including sunburn or frostbite)
  • Within 2 days of being waxed 
  • If you have taken Aspirin, Vitamin E, Niacin, or Ibuprofen with 24 hours of treatment 
  • Within 2 months of having Botox 
  • If you have used Accutane, Isotretinoinor, or other strong retinoids with 6 months 
  • If you are overly sensitive or pain intolerant 
  • On keloids (or you tend to get keloids), unusual scars, birthmarks, or moles 
  • Within 3 weeks of having a chemical peel, dermabrasion, mesotherapy, or other intense skin treatments
